Some colleges pay big money to have beautiful, inspirational commercials made about their campuses to air on TV. Others ask hilarious former students to make a more interesting commercial.

The Central Institute of Technology in Western Australia commissioned a video entitled “It’s a snap” starring Perth duo Henry & Aaron to advertise their college. The up and coming comedians are graduates of the school.

(Warning: The video gets a little gross around 1:30.)

The begins with a genie-like Aaron McCann snapping his fingers and materializing in front of comedy partner Henry Inglis. The ad has the pair take you through all the cool things at the college, snapping their fingers at every turn. And that’s when things get really, really dark.

Not sure if the school knew about it before hand, or they were just impressed with their graduates editing skills.

The video was noticed by Reddit users who quickly sang its praises. Gizmodo calls it the “Best. Technical College Ad. Ever.” I’m inclined to agree.

“Looks like we’re officially trending now, loads of Americans tweeting!,” the duo wrote on their Facebook page.
