Pass the reefer: the most pot friendly colleges

January 30, 2012 · Posted By: Amanda Jones

Have you ever needed a little stress to cure the stress? Yes, I’m talking about marijuana, pot, reefer, weed, Mary Jane, whatever you want to call it. While marijuana is illegal, that doesn’t stop people from smoking it. I’m pretty sure you can get it from the guy that sits in front of you in class checking his facebook when he should be taking notes.

Your next question is probably will you get in trouble for having it at school, probably, maybe, yes, no. Well if no one knows that you have it. It’s kind of like having alcohol in your dorm when you know you’re not supposed to. Who’s going to tell? You’ll most likely tell on yourself by being obnoxious and acting under the influence before anyone else snitches on you. But which schools actually don’t care or are more “pot friendly”…that’s what I’m going to tell you. Check them out below:

  1. Colorado College
  2. University of California Santa Cruz
  3. University of California Santa Barbara
  4. University of Colorado-Boulder
  5. Bard College
  6. Lewis and Clark College
  7. Warren Wilson College
  8. Eckerd College
  9. New College of Florida
  10. University of Vermont

It’s okay if you don’t go to any of these colleges just don’t make it obvious that you like to light one up before that boring philosophy class. And don’t be embarrassed, everyone needs some kind of stress reliever, some of us prefer stress, and others prefer massages or yoga. Remember to pass it and don’t hog the blunt. Please smoke responsibly!
